Guest Wireless Changes

In an effort to increase security, meet our compliance requirements and enhance our end-user wireless experience our guest wireless network (COM-Guest) will no longer be an open network and will now require a special username and password that is reserved for guests of the college.

We ask that all employees and students connect to our new 5G High Speed Wireless network on COM-Private.

If a guest is coming on campus and needs wireless access, please contact the help desk (x8302) 1 hour in advance to retrieve a temporary username and password for that guest.

No More PAPER!

Effective January 2016 COM is going green and our Student e-Mail system will be used for all official communication with the college.  As a COM student your email is automatically setup for you 24 hours after registration.  At that point all information from COM that is sent to the student will be sent to the college issued email address.

New Password Policy

College of the Mainland is committed to a secure information technology environment in support of its mission. In today’s environment the need for a strong password policy is greater than ever.   As of November 2nd these updated regulations will go into effect.  Click here for more information
